They started with a high-res photo of a famous figure and challenged participants to transform them into a modern hipster using Photoshop or illustration skills. The guidelines were clear: think vintage everything—skinny jeans handed down from generations, thick glasses, beanies, beards, quirky tattoos, and of course, the iconic fixed-gear bicycle. The results were both hilarious and impressive, showcasing the creativity and humor of the design community.
The contest wrapped up on March 17, with 195 creative submissions from 98 talented designers. The top spot went to “Free Imagination,” who delivered a hilarious yet stylish version of Leonardo DiCaprio. In this winning design, DiCaprio rocked a bow-tie, carried an iPhone, and donned a skinny suit jacket paired with matching shorts.
