There was a time when a classic white dress was every bride’s go-to for their wedding day. But according to a bridal magazine, things have changed. In 2024, non-traditional wedding dresses have become the most popular style for brides, offering a fresh and unique look for their big day.
In this spirit, many brides are choosing DIY wedding dresses that are both budget-friendly and one-of-a-kind for their big day. These affordable yet unique options make financial sense in the long run. But no matter what style a bride picks, it’s still her special day. As the following images show, you can definitely make a stunning impression—even if your choice steps away from tradition.

If you’re considering a non-white dress, trust me, you won’t regret it! I was nervous at first, but once I picked the dress, I chose a color palette to match, and everything came together perfectly!
The dress I got was from Teuta Matoshi, and I did custom sizing—it fit perfectly, except it was a bit too long. They even made a few custom changes at no extra cost, like adding a modesty panel to the corset back and creating a pocket square for my husband (which we didn’t end up using). I’d definitely recommend buying from them!

arthbach: For a dress like this, it’s best to keep the flowers elegant and minimal. A simple arrangement of white blooms paired with trailing greenery would complement the look beautifully and not overwhelm the outfit.
